Contract Description:
Yakama Nation Fisheries - Yakima/Klickitat Fisheries Project (YKFP) staff is proposing a basinwide wood replenishment helicopter project on the Upper Yakima and Naches Rivers. This project will be in collaboration with other local, tribal, federal, and state agencies that will provide cost-share or match contributions from Yakima Basin Integrated Plan (YBIP), Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB), Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW), and USFWS Partners for Fish & Wildlife grant. Other funding included in this contract will supplement the Phase II Teanaway Community Forest Floodplain Restoration Project (TCF) i.e., Carlson, Dickey, Rye and Lick Creek which is a cost share between BPA, NOAA, YBIP, and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
